She received her bachelors in Electronics Engineering from IIUI in 2014 with a Gold Medal for being declared best in academics. Agriculture being the major livelihood provider in the country, she set out on a mission to develop cutting edge technologies for the domain. She received her PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture from NUST in 2022. The impact of her PhD research work on "Development of decision support system for non-destructive fruit quality estimation" was recognized nationally and internationally by prestigious Journals such as Springer Nature as well as noteworthy platforms such as CxO global, Express Tribune, Felix Instruments Newsletter and interviews at ARY news, and PTV news. She represented Pakistan in 2019 China Agricultural Robotics Competition held in Qingdao China fetching accolades for the country. Dr. Ayesha has been awarded NUST University Best Teacher Award for the year 2023-24. Dr Ayesha is strongly committed to community development and been awarded best Community Services Award NUST, Pakistan. As the head of STEM program, she has enabled schools across country to incorporate latest Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (TLA) methods in their curriculum. Currently, Dr Ayesha serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, NUST College of EME. Her research interest lies in Agricultural Robotics, Precision Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence, and signal processing.
