Engr. Dr. Muhammad Hanif is an Assistant Professor at NUST's Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of E&ME, and hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Engineering and Technology (HUST), Wuhan China, and a Postdoc at Additive Manufacturing Institute (AMI), Shenzhen University, China (2023-2026). He has done Bachelor (BSc. Industrial Engineering) from the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Peshawar, PK and Master of Engineering (MS Industrial Engineering) from the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Taxila, PK. Dr. Hanif's research direction is additive manufacturing, smart polymers, ceramics materials, welding, and non-conventional machining. An active researcher, he has published his quality works in high-impact journals, such as Additive Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering Journal, Composite Structures, IJAMT, etc., and also published a Chinese patent on welding technology. His research focuses on translating innovative manufacturing technologies into sustainable engineering applications through teaching and impactful research.
