Sports Facilities

1. EME Riding Club

A state of the art Riding Club has been established in College of E&ME for TCs, NSs, PCs, faculty members, officers & children of officers / faculty. The club was inaugurated on 21 June 2013 by CLS Lt Gen Muhammad Haroon Aslam. Presently, 8 x trained horses are available for riding. A qualified riding instructor alongwith supporting staff is also available for training of the novices. Students show keen interest towards this facility and join the club in great number by obtaining its membership

2. Swimming Pool

The earth breaking for construction of a Semi Olympic Swimming Pool was done by Maj Gen Obaid Bin Zakria (Ex-Comdt College of E&ME) in May 2013 and it was completed in a record short time in Dec 2013. It was inaugurated on 10 Dec 2013 by Maj Gen Obaid Bin Zakria (Ex-Comdt College of E&ME). The pool is available for the students, faculty, officers and their families. This is a semi Olympic swimming pool where national / inter-varsity/ inter-college swimming competitions are held. The main six lane pool is 25 meters long whereas its width is 20 meters and the depth is 5 ½ feet. There is also a separate pool for the ladies and children, the length of which is 12 meters and width is 6 meters whereas it is 4 feet deep. A small pool for the kids is also there. Swimming Pool has been established on modern lines using the latest equipment / technology. Infra also includes a Sauna Room, 5x changing rooms, 8x shower rooms, 4x toilets, a filtration plant containing 4 x filters alongwith 4x pumps, a locker room and a huge seating arrangment. In near future, temperature control system to make it available for all weathers, ozonation system for water processing and killing of bacteria will also come on the list of facilities.

3. Assault Course

An assault course has been established in College of E&ME where all the standard obstacles have been laid. The assault course of College of E&ME is a medium to inculcate physical fitness in TCs in particular and NCs / PCs / ASCs in general. Its motive is to prepare TCs for PMA and it plays a significant role in their Pre PMA Trg. It was upgraded in 2019 / 2020 to include some modern obstacles.

4. Drill Square

Drill square of College of E&ME is located along the main football gr. Drill Square is used for daily drill of cadets and plays a vital role in grooming / training of tech cadets.

5. Fitness Centers

3 x well equipped and modern Gymnasiums have been established in the sports complex incl 1 x ladies fitness center and 2x fitness centers for students / faculty / officers.

6. Sports Complex (2012)

Besides outdoor sports grounds which can accommodate a no of outdoor games like cricket, hockey, volleyball, handball, football & futsal, a state of art Sports Complex has been estb in College of E&ME. It was inaugurated on 21 Jun 2012 by Lt Gen (Retd) Muhammad Asghar (Ex Rector NUST). It provides a no of indoor sports facilities listed below.
