VISION & MISSION
Vision
College of E&ME Library actively supports teaching, learning and research. CEME Library also promotes intellectual growth and creativity by developing collection, facilitating access to information resources and teaching information literacy skills.
Mission
College of E&ME Library aims to promote a culture of broad inquiry and to support the mission of College by acquiring, preserving, and disseminating knowledge and creative expression. It seeks to deliver world-class physical and digital contents as well as to provide facilities and services critical to research and education in the 21st century. It strives to serve as a neutral and trusted party supporting access to information and scholarly communication.

All e-resources are IP based and can be accessed within College Campus as per HEC policy ( through www.ceme.nust.edu.pk). User – friendly and interactive College library web page has hyperlinks of all e-resources.

| Scanning Facility College library has two latest fast Scanners for scanning of publications/ books. Scanning facility can be utilized on self-helps basis. Necessary guidance on the facility is also provided on need basis. |

| Consultation Chamber Library has one dedicated consultation room for faculty and students having seating capacity of six students. It has 40 inch LED screen for presentation/ display purpose. This facility can be obtained after advance intimation at college library info desk. |

| Research Rooms Two dedicated research rooms having seating capacity of eight individuals are available for students |

| Book Sliders Movable single side rack placed in layered pattern used as a text books shelves to facilitate the students. |

| Book Carts Carousels and book carts have been introduced for better space management & enhanced sitting capacity. |

| Literature / Kids section A dedicated literature and kids section has been established for leisure studies. Number of new books have been placed in Urdu, English literatures along with different encyclopedias and interior decoration books |

| Help Desk A help desk is established in library for library users. One of our highest goals is to provide good services to our users, thus a professional always available for support and helping for students, faculty and other users. So our users feel free to pursue research and study without compromising their privacy or safety. |

Wi-Fi Facility
Users can connect to the Wi-Fi network available in the library through their personal laptops, Smart phones or tablets. At present four dedicated routers are available in library for internet use. Wi-fi password is displayed on Info screen for ease of students
Rules and Regulations
General Policy
1. Users are expected to observe the following rules while using the library services; any violation of these rules will incur appropriate disciplinary action.
a. Leave your personal belongings such as handbags, briefcases, etc., outside the library entrance, on your own responsibility. The library disclaims any liability for loss or damage.
b. Submit any book or object for inspection, when requested by the library staff.
c. Do not write, underline or mark any book. Library books are carefully examined on return and the borrower will be held responsible for the damage.
d. After reading, leave books on the table. Please do not shelve the books.
e. Complete silence should be observed except for brief and subdued talk with the library staff.
f. Drinks and eatables are not allowed in the library.
g. Keep your mobiles off within the library premises.
h. Report lost books or other materials to the library immediately.
i. In case of lost Library Card, please immediately report to the circulation staff so that your membership is temporarily blocked to prevent misuse of the Library Card. Once you get a replacement, please inform circulation staff so that your memberships can be re-activated.
j. Ask for help from library staff if you are unable to find your required material.
k. While returning library books or other materials at the Circulation Desk please ensure that the circulation staff has returned the book(s).
