Researches Sustainable Energy Analytics Lab (SEAL)

Sustainable Energy Analytics Lab (SEAL)

An inter-disciplinary research group focusing on the integration of physics-based models, data science, experimental techniques, and optimization to develop next generation energy systems and technologies to accelerate decarbonization, improve resilience, and provide sustainable solutions. The group focuses on advancing energy solutions that are environmentally responsible, economically viable, and socially equitable. Researchers use data-driven approaches, computational models, and machine learning to optimize renewable energy systems, energy storage, and energy efficiency. Investigating the integration of solar, wind, and other renewables into existing grids, to reduce carbon emissions. Energy policy, sustainability metrics, and smart grid technologies is also explored, collaborating with industry, government, and community partners.
